Science Project: Artifacts from the McConnell Cage Collection

After attending a lecture in McConnell Hall at Smith College I came across the science departments’ storage cages. In the cages was unused and sometimes-used demonstration equipment. I thought it would be interesting to see how these objects looked in a gallery setting or as material for making art, outside their context as science apparatus. This exhibition was my selection of re-contextualised objects from the McConnell cages.
