STATEMENT

I am interested in patterns and collections of things, and how meaning is created out of everyday experience. I look at the small things in life, and hope to bring attention to what usually goes unnoticed. My projects grow directly from my day-to-day activities at a particular moment, such as going through a car wash, riding a commuter train, eating m&m’s, or retouching a family portrait. The medium I use is determined by my idea, but a computer is almost always involved.
